We at Telecare Distress Line of Greater Simcoe are proud to support suicide safer communities! We do this by providing Suicide Awareness Training to community members in Simcoe County.

SafeTALK is a 3.5-hour interactive workshop that teaches participants how to identify those who may be having thoughts of suicide and how to connect these people to appropriate suicide first aid.

Feedback shows that participants feel much more confident and comfortable talking about suicide following this training and that they are better prepared to help someone experiencing thoughts of suicide.
